Also, just having some time in the sun can be extremely helpful to getting rid of acne. However, it’s important to understand that you shouldn’t take medication that makes you sensitive to sunlight. The sun will kill the bacteria that produces acne and dry up your skin if it’s oily.

Your skin needs plenty of water to stay healthy and many times people make the mistake of not drinking enough fluids. This can cause your skin to become irritated, dry and flaky which will cause breakouts.

Your body really needs at least 8 to 10 full glasses of water daily. Each glass should be at least 8 ounces. If you do not want to drink that much water then you can also get water from the fruit that you eat. Water is a key factor in how to get rid of acne.

If you suffer with oily skin then you may want to try some lemon juice on your face. You can simply put some lemon juice on a cotton ball and wipe your face with it. It will help to absorb the excess oil and dry up your skin.

Then again, if you already have dry skin we definitely don’t recommend it. If this is the case take vitamins. A and E are the best, but you’ll get enough through a multi-vitamin.
